“Run, Run As Fast As You Can (You Can’t Catch Me, I’m American Woman)” is a continuation within a series of videos and performances by Kristan Saloky predominately preoccupied with American femininity.  Shot on the beaches of Barcelona, Spain, Run, Run As Fast As You Can (You Can’t Catch Me, I’m American Woman) playfully recreates the classic American image of Old Glory billowing in the wind via the sexualized image of the “Baywatchian” female running along the shoreline.
